Parce qu\u2019en lisant les roches, on reconstitue un environnement disparu : pr\u00e9sence d\u2019eau, alternance de climats, m\u00e9canismes volcaniques, d\u00e9p\u00f4ts s\u00e9dimentaires. Les rovers et les analyses d\u2019images ont transform\u00e9 Mars en un terrain d\u2019enqu\u00eate g\u00e9ologique : on observe, on d\u00e9crit, on compare, puis on propose un sc\u00e9nario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c0 retenir<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La g\u00e9ologie martienne repose sur la m\u00eame m\u00e9thode que sur Terre : <strong>observer \u2192 d\u00e9crire \u2192 interpr\u00e9ter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les roches s\u00e9dimentaires sont particuli\u00e8rement informatives pour l\u2019histoire de l\u2019eau.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On recoupe : textures, stratifications, min\u00e9raux, contextes de d\u00e9p\u00f4t.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le but n\u2019est pas un \u201cr\u00e9cit unique\u201d mais un sc\u00e9nario coh\u00e9rent avec les indices disponibles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1) L\u2019eau laisse des signatures g\u00e9ologiques<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur Terre, l\u2019eau fa\u00e7onne les d\u00e9p\u00f4ts : sables, argiles, stratifications, ciments. Sur Mars, on cherche des indices similaires : couches r\u00e9guli\u00e8res, grains tri\u00e9s, min\u00e9raux compatibles avec une alt\u00e9ration aqueuse. Ce sont ces signatures qui permettent de discuter d\u2019un pass\u00e9 plus humide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2) Les roches s\u00e9dimentaires : la \u201cm\u00e9moire\u201d d\u2019un environnement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Stratifications<\/strong> : alternances de couches qui sugg\u00e8rent des variations de d\u00e9p\u00f4t<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Granulom\u00e9trie<\/strong> : tailles de grains qui renseignent sur l\u2019\u00e9nergie du milieu (eau calme vs \u00e9coulement)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ciments<\/strong> : liaisons entre grains, parfois li\u00e9es \u00e0 des circulations d\u2019eau<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3) Volcanisme, impacts, poussi\u00e8res : les autres grands \u201cacteurs\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mars n\u2019est pas \u201cque\u201d s\u00e9dimentaire : volcans, impacts m\u00e9t\u00e9oritiques et d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de poussi\u00e8res jouent un r\u00f4le majeur. L\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat est de distinguer ces signatures : textures, fragments, structures, morphologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4) M\u00e9thode scientifique : comment on \u00e9vite l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation trop rapide<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>D\u00e9crire pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment (texture, couches, grains)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comparer \u00e0 des analogues terrestres (sans copier-coller)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proposer plusieurs hypoth\u00e8ses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tester par recoupements (min\u00e9ralogie, contexte, images, coh\u00e9rence)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Atelier p\u00e9dagogique : \u201clire\u201d une roche comme un g\u00e9ologue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Prenez une photo de roche stratifi\u00e9e (Terre) et entra\u00eenez-vous : d\u00e9crivez sans interpr\u00e9ter, puis proposez 2 sc\u00e9narios possibles (d\u00e9p\u00f4t en eau calme vs d\u00e9p\u00f4t en \u00e9coulement).
