Aujourd\u2019hui, l\u2019IA intervient surtout dans trois domaines : <strong>structure des prot\u00e9ines<\/strong>, <strong>analyse de g\u00e9nomes<\/strong> et <strong>analyse d\u2019images<\/strong> (microscopie). Comprendre ces usages aide \u00e0 lire l\u2019actualit\u00e9 scientifique sans se faire pi\u00e9ger par le sensationnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c0 retenir<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>L\u2019IA est efficace quand on a <strong>beaucoup de donn\u00e9es<\/strong> et une question mesurable (classification, pr\u00e9diction, segmentation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elle ne remplace pas l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation : elle propose des hypoth\u00e8ses, des triages, des priorit\u00e9s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le risque majeur : surinterpr\u00e9ter une pr\u00e9diction sans validation (biais, donn\u00e9es incomple\u0300tes, surapprentissage).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour l\u2019enseignement, c\u2019est un excellent sujet \u201cm\u00e9thode scientifique\u201d : donn\u00e9es \u2192 mod\u00e8le \u2192 validation \u2192 limites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1) Prot\u00e9ines : de la s\u00e9quence \u00e0 la structure (et \u00e0 la fonction)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un usage embl\u00e9matique est la pr\u00e9diction de structures de prot\u00e9ines \u00e0 partir de leur s\u00e9quence. Cela aide \u00e0 formuler des hypoth\u00e8ses sur la fonction, \u00e0 guider des exp\u00e9riences et \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la recherche. Mais une pr\u00e9diction reste une pr\u00e9diction : l\u2019\u00e9tape cl\u00e9 est la validation (exp\u00e9riences, comparaisons, coh\u00e9rence biologique).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2) G\u00e9nomes : rep\u00e9rer des motifs, classer, comparer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les mod\u00e8les peuvent aider \u00e0 classer des s\u00e9quences, d\u00e9tecter des motifs, pr\u00e9dire des r\u00e9gions d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat ou acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l\u2019annotation. Le point critique est la qualit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es d\u2019entra\u00eenement : si elles sont biais\u00e9es, les r\u00e9sultats le seront aussi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3) Microscopie : l\u2019IA \u201cvoit\u201d des structures difficiles \u00e0 compter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En images biologiques, l\u2019IA sert souvent \u00e0 segmenter des cellules, compter des objets, suivre des mouvements, ou am\u00e9liorer la reproductibilit\u00e9 d\u2019une analyse.
